  • Local officials reported at least 10 dead and 48 injured in Kyiv, with authorities warning the toll could rise as rescue work continues.

  • The assault was the first major combined attack on the capital since the recent TrumpPutin meeting, as President Volodymyr Zelensky pressed for tougher U.S. sanctions and continued efforts to secure a Putin–Zelensky summit venue.
