Russia Investigates 14 Foreign Journalists for Illegal Border Crossing

The FSB has launched criminal cases against journalists from France 24 and CH Media for entering the Kursk region from Ukraine.

Since August 17, the Russian FSB has opened cases against 14 foreign journalists for allegedly crossing the Ukraine-Russia border illegally.
The journalists under investigation recently include those from France 24 and Switzerland's CH Media.
Ukraine's August offensive in the Kursk region marked the first significant territorial gain by Ukraine in Russia since the war began.
Several international media outlets have reported from the Ukrainian-controlled areas in Kursk following the offensive.
Under Russian law, illegal border crossing can result in up to five years of imprisonment.
