Overview

• The government expects 1.7 million families to use maternal capital in 2026.

• The 2026 budget sets aside nearly 567 billion rubles for maternal capital, about 30 billion more than this year.
• About 7.3 million working parents of two or more children are slated to receive a family tax payment benefiting roughly 11 million children.
