Overview

• The Ostriv road bridge was hit by guided aerial bombs on August 2 and remains damaged but passable under strict traffic restrictions.
• More than 1,000 civilians have been evacuated from Korabel as continuous attacks have cut gas, electricity and water supplies.
• Russian drones and artillery continue to strike Kherson city and the island district with little regard for civilian areas.
• Evacuation convoys have so far avoided enemy fire, but high drone activity has prevented repair teams from restoring utilities.
• Defence officials say any Russian amphibious landing on Korabel is unlikely because of geographic barriers and reinforced anti-landing positions.
