Russia Concludes Autumn Conscription With 135,000 Inducted

The Defense Ministry said new digital tools streamlined the process by enabling remote deferrals and electronic notices.

Overview

The draft ran from October 1 to December 31 under Presidential Decree No. 690 setting a 135,000-person quota.
A new Unified Registry enabled more than 550,000 citizens to obtain deferrals without visiting commissariats, with call-up notifications delivered via the state services portal.
Conscripts were not sent to the Donetsk and Luhansk People's Republics or the Kherson and Zaporizhzhia regions, nor assigned to special military operation tasks.
Most draftees were assigned to training units, with 680 placed in scientific and industrial research units and 240 in sports companies.
Troop movements used 17 military flights, 104 civilian flights and 13 military echelons alongside trains and vehicles, and those who completed service were discharged and returned home.
