Overview

• The Russian Defense Ministry said its Zapad grouping seized Kirovsk in the Donetsk region and inflicted more than 250 Ukrainian casualties, along with destroying armor and artillery.
• Moscow reported strikes on railway infrastructure used for moving weapons and fuel, as well as on storage and launch locations for long‑range Ukrainian drones and temporary deployment points.
• Separately, Russia’s Dnepr grouping was described by the ministry as having killed up to 65 Ukrainian servicemen and destroyed vehicles, electronic warfare stations and an ammunition depot in Zaporizhzhia and Kherson areas.
