Russia Braces for Renewed Moscow Snow as Crimea, Krasnodar Face Blizzard Warnings

A Scandinavian cyclone is steering hazardous weather across western Russia, forecasters say.

  • The Hydrometcenter warns of very heavy precipitation, blizzards and dangerous winds in Crimea and Krasnodar Krai through the weekend, with coastal gusts up to 25–30 m/s and 30–35 m/s in the mountains including Sochi and Sirius.
