Runners Finalize Kit Pickup as Over 30,000 Gear Up for Medio Maratón CDMX

City authorities will open Metro lines at 5:00 a.m. on Sunday ahead of the commemorative 21.1 km race.

Overview

  • The Expo at World Trade Center Salones Mexicas I & II remains open through July 12 for personal kit pickup and official race materials.
  • Participants must collect their competitor kits today from 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. following earlier sessions on July 10–11 from 10:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m.
  • Metro CDMX will start service on lines 1, 2, 3 and 9 at 5:00 a.m. Sunday with free entry for runners showing their race number.
  • The half marathon kicks off at 6:05 a.m. Sunday, July 13, from Torre del Caballito on Paseo de la Reforma and finishes at the Ángel de la Independencia.
  • Organizers will provide medical support, hydration stations and wardrobe services along the certified route that marks the 700th anniversary of México-Tenochtitlán.
