RuneScape Launches Catalyst, Its First League Mode, Running Through Nov. 10

Overview

  • Catalyst is live now through November 10 as modern RuneScape’s debut League mode with dramatically accelerated progression.
  • Access requires a subscription, with a special Leagues membership priced at $21.99 / £15.99 available from September 15–21.
  • Tasks award League Points used to unlock one relic per tier across seven tiers, including Animal Wrangler, Divine Woodcutter, Excavator and Everlasting Faith.
  • Fresh characters are created on League-only worlds with Grand Exchange trading disabled and Treasure Hunter microtransactions turned off.
  • Five regional League servers are open—two in the U.S., one in the UK, one in the EU and one in Australia—with Dragon Trophy honors for top HiScore finishers and point exchanges for main-game rewards after the event.
