- runDisney announced via Instagram that more 5K spots will be offered across all four Walt Disney World race weekends beginning with the 2026 Disney Wine & Dine Half Marathon Weekend.
- The expanded 5K availability covers Wine & Dine, the 2027 Walt Disney World Marathon Weekend, the 2027 Disney Princess Half Marathon Weekend, and the 2027 runDisney Springtime Surprise Weekend.
