A video of Officer Cory Cooper from Grantsville City Police Department tackling a runaway pig has gone viral, attracting over 12 million views on TikTok.
The incident occurred after several complaints about three pigs causing havoc in a Grantsville, Utah, neighborhood by entering gardens and animal paddocks.
The pigs, described as 'hog-wild' and 'porcine perpetrators,' were eventually all captured and taken to a local rescue since their owner did not come forward.
Officer Cooper, experienced in handling pigs, managed to capture one of the pigs with a dive tackle, sustaining a few scrapes in the process.
The Grantsville City Police Department has warned the pig's owner of potential expenses for trapping the animals if they are not claimed soon.
