• La Garita is set to debut on La 1 on July 3, 2025, replacing La Revuelta’s late-night slot for the summer months.
• Hosts J. J. Vaquero and Álex Clavero portray security guards who convert their post into an impromptu screening room for RTVE’s historic archive.
• Each episode features nostalgic clips, surprise run-ins with familiar faces in RTVE’s corridors and candid commentary delivered in an improvised style.
• The series is produced by RTVE in collaboration with 100 Balas (The Mediapro Studio) to maintain the network’s nocturnal entertainment offerings.
• David Broncano and the original La Revuelta team will return in September after their annual break.
