RTA Sets 3 a.m.–10 a.m. Road Closures for Dubai Run on Sunday

Metro use is recommended to ease access for tens of thousands of participants.

Overview

  • Dubai’s Roads and Transport Authority confirmed temporary closures on November 23 from 3:00am to 10:00am to facilitate the Dubai Run.
  • Affected routes include part of Sheikh Zayed Road between Trade Centre Roundabout and Al Hadiqa Road bridge, Lower Financial Centre Street to Al Khail Road, a one-way direction on Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Boulevard, and a one-way lane on Al Sukook Street.
  • Parking parallel to Sheikh Zayed Road will be suspended during the closure, with drivers advised to use Upper Financial Centre Street, Zabeel Park Road, Al Wasl Road, and Al Khail Road as alternatives.
  • Participants are urged to take Dubai Metro to Dubai World Trade Centre station for the start area, with services highlighted as the preferred way to reach the event.
  • The free run starts at 6:30am from the Museum of the Future with 5km and 10km routes finishing near Dubai Mall or DIFC, and registration remains available for both distances.
