Overview
- The three-day lecture series will run from August 26 to 28 at Vigyan Bhavan in New Delhi as the centenary’s flagship event.
- Invitations span 17 broad categories and 138 sub-categories to include opposition leaders, academics, entrepreneurs, influencers and representatives from Muslim, Christian, Buddhist and other minority communities.
- RSS pracharak Sunil Ambekar confirmed that envoys from Pakistan and Bangladesh and likely Turkey will not be invited to the lecture series.
- Chief Mohan Bhagwat will outline the need to move beyond colonial-era development benchmarks and present the Panch Parivartan five-fold transformation before answering questions on the final day.
- RSS plans similar lecture series events in Bengaluru in November and in Kolkata and Mumbai in February next year.
