Overview
- RSS chief Mohan Bhagwat is presiding over the September 5–7 conclave in Jodhpur, with BJP president J.P. Nadda in attendance and about 320 delegates from 32 affiliated organisations participating.
- Sessions are reviewing implementation of NEP 2020, the Panch Parivartan priorities and socio-economic conditions in tribal regions including Punjab, West Bengal, Assam and the Northeast.
- Organisers say the first two days covered centenary-year programmes and reviews of affiliates’ work on women’s participation, de-addiction, agriculture, cooperatives and drives promoting indigenous products.
- The centenary year will run from Vijayadashami on October 2, 2025, launching in Nagpur with nationwide outreach at mandal, village and basti levels.
- Rajasthan Chief Minister Bhajan Lal Sharma and former CM Vasundhara Raje held brief, closed-door meetings with Bhagwat, as the RSS reiterated the gathering is a consultative platform rather than a decision-making body.
