Overview

• The Shiksha Sanskriti Utthan Nyas will hold its four-day Gyan Sabha in Kalady, Kerala, from July 25 to 28.
• Around 300 participants, including vice-chancellors, state education ministers and the Kerala governor, have confirmed their attendance.
• RSS chief Mohan Bhagwat is slated to address delegates on ‘Indianness in education’ and broader NEP 2020 themes on July 27.
• Sessions will examine the revival of Indian knowledge systems and the embedding of moral and civilisational values into institutional curricula.
• Representatives from bodies such as Gayatri Pariwar, Art of Living, Ramakrishna Mission and Chinmaya Mission will take part in closed-door Chintan Baithaks and an open policy forum.
