Overview
- For the first time, three simultaneous processions will be held in Nagpur on September 27, starting 7 pm from Kasturchand Park, Yashwant Stadium, and the Indian Hockey Ground and converging at Variety Chowk at 7:45 pm for a review by Mohan Bhagwat.
- The main Vijayadashami gathering is scheduled for 7:40 am on October 2 at Reshimbag Ground, with former president Ram Nath Kovind as chief guest and Bhagwat delivering the guiding address.
- The RSS will observe its Shatabdi Varsha from this Vijayadashami to the next (2025–2026), highlighting growth from a 17-member meeting in 1925 to more than 83,000 shakhas.
- Participation is projected to be far higher than last year’s 7,000 swayamsevaks in full uniform, with organisers planning expanded security and noting attendance by dignitaries from India and abroad.
- Year-long programming under the Pancha Parivartan banner will emphasise environmental initiatives, social harmony, self-reliance, family awareness, and civic responsibility, with leaders urging freedom from a colonial mindset.
