RSS Chief Mohan Bhagwat to Visit Manipur Nov. 20–22 in First Trip Since 2023 Unrest

The RSS calls the three-day trip part of its centenary outreach to local stakeholders.

Overview

Bhagwat is scheduled to arrive from Guwahati on November 20 and depart on November 22, according to RSS functionaries.
His first-day programme includes meetings with entrepreneurs and eminent citizens at Konjeng Leikai in Imphal.
On November 21, he is set to hold consultations with Janajati leaders from the hill districts.
The RSS says visits to relief camps for internally displaced people are not on the schedule at present.
The visit comes as BJP national leaders have been active in Manipur, with JP Nadda reported as expected on November 21, against a backdrop of President’s rule and prolonged displacement after violence that has killed more than 260 people.
