Overview
- Regional Railway Recruitment Boards published the city intimation slips on Aug. 5 for candidates scheduled to sit the Group D CBT on Aug. 13 and 14, and the slips appear on regional RRB websites.
- The city slip shows the exam city, date and shift to help candidates plan travel but is not a valid entry document at the exam centre.
- RRBs will issue the admit card or E‑Call Letter roughly four days before each candidate’s scheduled test and that document will state the exact exam centre, reporting time and entry rules.
- The Group D selection runs in four stages—Computer Based Test, Physical Efficiency Test, Document Verification and Medical—and eligibility requires Class 10 or ITI with the prescribed age limits.
- The CBT campaign covers 22,195 Level‑1 vacancies nationwide across the Aug. 3–21 testing window with an extra date on Aug. 25, and candidates should log in to their regional RRB portal with registration number and date of birth to download slips or SC/ST travel authority where applicable.
