Overview
- Regional RRB portals went live on July 29 with the NTPC UG city intimation slip, fulfilling the 10-day advance notice before the August 7 start of CBT1.
- The slip provides each candidate’s exam city, scheduled date and session timing and is distinct from the e-call letter, which will be issued four days before individual exam dates.
- SC/ST candidates can download a complimentary travel authority alongside their city slip to arrange journeys to their assigned exam centres.
- The undergraduate CBT1 runs from August 7 to September 8, lasts 90 minutes and features 100 questions across general awareness, mathematics and reasoning with a one-third mark penalty for wrong answers.
- Successful CBT1 takers will move through a second CBT, a typing skill test where required, and final document verification and medical examination for merit-based selection.
