Overview

  • On August 4, RRBs made NTPC UG CBT-1 e-call letters available for download on rrbapply.gov.in and regional portals including rrbcdg.gov.in, rrbahmedabad.gov.in, rrbchennai.gov.in and rrbkolkata.gov.in.
  • First-stage CBT-1 exams will run from August 7 to September 9, 2025, across three daily shifts to fill 3,445 undergraduate posts under CEN 06/2024.
  • The computer-based test comprises 100 multiple-choice questions—40 on general awareness, 30 on mathematics and 30 on reasoning—administered over 90 minutes with a one-third mark penalty for each incorrect answer.
  • Candidates must download and print their admit cards, carry a valid photo ID and undergo Aadhaar-linked biometric authentication at designated exam centres.
  • SC/ST applicants can download travel authority slips and view city intimation details for specific exam dates through their respective regional RRB websites.
