RPSC Debars 524 Candidates, Including 415 for Life, Over Exam Fraud and Forged Credentials

The commission is tightening identity checks with mandatory e-KYC to curb duplicate or fraudulent registrations.

Overview

  • Jalore recorded the most debarments at 128, followed by Banswara with 81 and Dungarpur with 40, with 514 candidates from Rajasthan and 10 from other states including Uttar Pradesh (5), Haryana (2), and one each from Bihar, Delhi and Madhya Pradesh.
  • The largest share involves document fraud with 157 cases, including 126 instances of fake B.Ed. degrees used to claim eligibility.
  • Unfair means accounted for 148 cases, including 68 instances of impersonation and 38 cases of cheating via mobile or Bluetooth devices, along with 62 cases tied to misuse of question papers or OMR sheets.
  • Process safeguards now include mandatory e-KYC for One Time Registration from July 7, with 48,667 completions reported out of 10.33 lakh SSO registrations and disqualification of applicants using multiple SSO IDs.
  • RPSC has asked investigation agencies to probe suspected misuse of the divorced-women quota through fake or collusive divorce certificates, with further action pending their reports.
