Overview
- Seasonal contracts run from late October to early January 2026 across two parcel hubs, four temporary sort centres and 37 mail centres.
- The hiring plan includes 12,000 mail‑centre sorting roles in England, 2,000 in Scotland, 600 in Wales and 400 in Northern Ireland.
- Royal Mail is also offering 3,000 delivery and collection posts plus 2,000 temporary HGV and MGV driving roles nationwide.
- The four seasonal sites—Atherstone, Milton Keynes, Northampton and Daventry—add 118,000 square metres of temporary sorting space.
- Transport capacity will be increased with 6,800 hire vans and more than 1,200 road haulage contractors, and Parcelforce is recruiting additional drivers and indoor staff.
