Royal Jordanian to Launch Nonstop AmmanDallas/Fort Worth Flights in May 2026

The oneworld carrier taps American’s largest hub to feed U.S. connections to the Middle East.

Overview

  • Flights will run four times weekly year-round starting May 10, 2026.
  • Service operates on Sundays, Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays as RJ291/292, with AMMDFW at 10:40 a.m.–5:05 p.m. and DFWAMM at 10:55 p.m.–8:00 p.m. (+1).
  • Royal Jordanian will deploy a 270-seat Boeing 787-8, with 24 business seats and 246 in economy; the 787-8 business cabin is 2-2-2 and does not offer Wi‑Fi.
  • At roughly 7,036 miles, the route becomes the airline’s longest, blocked at about 14 hours 25 minutes westbound and 13 hours 5 minutes eastbound.
  • The addition marks Royal Jordanian’s fifth U.S. gateway and provides the first nonstop link between North Texas and Amman.
