Royal Enfield Unveils Bullet 650 in India at Motoverse 2025

The twin-cylinder update to the storied nameplate signals Royal Enfield’s broader move into higher-displacement models.

Overview

  • The Bullet 650 uses Royal Enfield’s 648 cc parallel-twin rated around 46–47 bhp and 52.3 Nm, paired with a six-speed gearbox and a slip/assist clutch.
  • It rides on the 650-family chassis with a steel tubular spine frame, 43 mm telescopic forks (120 mm travel), twin rear shocks (90 mm), 19/18-inch spoked wheels, and 320/300 mm discs with dual-channel ABS.
  • Design retains classic Bullet cues including the teardrop tank with hand-painted pinstripes, winged badge, casquette headlamp with tiger-eye pilot lamps, and a single-piece bench seat.
  • Modern equipment includes an LED headlamp, an analogue-digital instrument cluster with gear indicator and trip data, and a USB Type-C port; key specs include an 800 mm seat height, 14.8-litre tank and 243 kg kerb weight.
  • India pricing and a firm domestic launch date were not announced, with sales expected to begin around early 2026; initial guidance abroad points to a Cannon Black variant from about $7,499, with Cannon Black and Battleship Blue planned for India.
