Royal Caribbean Unveils Legend of the Seas With 28 Dining Venues, Willy Wonka Musical and New Thrills

The third Icon-class ship is slated to start in Europe in July 2026 before shifting to Fort Lauderdale that November.

  • Royal Caribbean detailed a lineup of 28 dining options, led by the immersive Royal Railway – Legend Station and the new Hollywoodland Supper Club, plus a refreshed AquaDome Market with a juice and smoothie bar.
  • The at-sea debut of Roald Dahl’s Charlie and the Chocolate Factory headlines entertainment alongside high-diving AquaTheater productions and shows in Absolute Zero, the line’s largest ice arena.
  • Top-deck attractions include six record-breaking waterslides at the Category 6 waterpark and the Crown’s Edge skywalk and zip line suspended 154 feet above the ocean.
  • Legend of the Seas will sail seven-night Western Mediterranean routes from Barcelona and Rome beginning July 2026, then offer 6-night Western and 8-night Southern Caribbean itineraries from Fort Lauderdale starting November 2026, with many voyages calling at Perfect Day at CocoCay.
  • The ship has completed float-out at Meyer Turku and will be Royal Caribbean’s fourth LNG-powered vessel, incorporating systems such as waste-heat recovery and shore-power connection toward the company’s 2035 net-zero goal.
