Royal Caribbean Details Legend of the Seas With 28 Dining Venues, New Shows and Record Thrills for 2026 Debut

The third Icon-class vessel advances Royal Caribbean’s family-focused, LNG-powered expansion.

Overview

  • The ship will offer 28 dining options, featuring the Hollywoodland Supper Club and Royal Railway – Legend Station with a five-course Marco Polo–themed experience.
  • Entertainment includes Roald Dahl’s Charlie and the Chocolate Factory, AquaTheater shows with high divers, aerialists and robotic elements, and performances in Absolute Zero, billed as the largest ice arena at sea.
  • Top-deck attractions span the Category 6 waterpark with six record-setting waterslides and the Crown’s Edge skywalk and zip line suspended 154 feet above the ocean.
  • Service begins with seven-night Mediterranean cruises from Barcelona and Rome in July 2026, then shifts to Caribbean itineraries from Fort Lauderdale in November with many calls at Perfect Day at CocoCay.
  • Legend of the Seas floated out at Meyer Turku last month and is now in outfitting, and Royal Caribbean says it will be the brand’s fourth LNG-powered ship toward a 2035 net-zero goal.
