Roy Wood Jr. to Host U.S. Version of 'Have I Got News for You' on CNN

The former Daily Show correspondent will lead the American adaptation of the popular BBC comedy panel series starting September 14.

The series will feature two yet-to-be-announced team captains and a rotating panel of guests including entertainers, political figures, and comedians.
CNN's adaptation will air on Saturdays at 9 p.m. ET and be available to stream on Max the following day.
Wood Jr. left The Daily Show in October 2023 to pursue new career opportunities.
The show aims to blend humor with current events, mirroring the format that has made the British original a staple since 1990.
Produced by CNN Originals and Hat Trick Productions, the series will be executive produced by Jimmy Mulville, Richard Wilson, and Jim Biederman.
