Overview
- Rowan Atkinson announced Monday that he will headline Rowan Live at the Gillian Lynne Theatre in London from 8 February to 13 March 2027.
- The production reunites long-time collaborators Richard Curtis and Ben Elton on writing duties with Howard Goodall composing and Raz Shaw directing.
- Atkinson has said the show will revisit signature characters including Edmund Blackadder, Mr Bean and sketches such as Gerald the Gorilla while also presenting newly written material that was workshopped this summer in front of small audiences.
- Priority booking opens October 7 through RowanLive.co.uk with a 9 a.m. BST priority window and general public sales from 12 p.m. BST on the same day.
- The run is limited to 30 performances, marking Atkinson’s first West End sketch show in 40 years and his first West End stage appearance since 2013, a format likely to create strong demand for seats.
