Ross Bjork Introduced as Ohio State's Next Athletic Director

Bjork Will Begin Duties as Senior Advisor in March, Full-Time Role in July

Ross Bjork, currently the athletic director at Texas A&M, has been introduced as the next athletic director for Ohio State, with his full duties beginning on July 1.
Bjork will start as the senior advisor to current AD Gene Smith from March 1, with a monthly salary of $175,000. His annual salary as the full-time AD will be $1.65 million.
Bjork's appointment still needs to be approved by the Board of Trustees, which is expected to happen in February.
Bjork has expressed his excitement about the role and his eagerness to work with football coach Ryan Day, whom he praised highly during his introductory press conference.
Bjork plans to conduct a comprehensive tour of all facilities once he takes over, with potential upgrades to the Woody Hayes Athletic Center already being discussed.
