Rose Zhang, an American golfer, takes a one-stroke lead at the third round of the Maybank Championship on the LPGA Tour, with a 7-under 65 and an 18-under total of 198.
Zhang secured her leading position with a successful birdie on the 18th hole at the Kuala Lumpur Golf and Country Club course.
Thai golfers Atthaya Thitikul and Jasmine Suwannapura are tied for second place after Thitikul scored a 62 and Suwannapura a 67.
After the first two rounds, Jasmine Suwannapura was in the lead, but fell to the second spot behind Zhang in the third round.
The Maybank Championship is the third of four events in the LPGA's Asian swing, following Minjee Lee's victory in South Korea last week; the final tournament, the Toto Classic, will take place in Japan next week.
