Rosamund Pike wore a 'protective veil' to the 2024 Golden Globes after a skiing accident on December 26 left her face 'entirely smashed up'.
The actress revealed that although her injuries had healed, she decided to keep the veil as she had 'fallen in love with the look'.
Pike's ensemble, a black lace Dior dress from the brand’s fall 2019 couture collection, was styled by Leith Clark and accessorized with diamonds from Boucheron.
The veil was designed by Philip Treacy and Pike joked that the look was fitting for her character in the film 'Saltburn', for which she was nominated for Best Supporting Actress.
Pike's dramatic look became a fan-favorite and a talking point of the awards ceremony.
