Roots Picnic 2025 Lineup Announced with D’Angelo, Lenny Kravitz, and Meek Mill Headlining

The two-day festival in Philadelphia will feature anniversary celebrations, rising stars, and a diverse mix of Black music genres.

The Roots Picnic will take place on May 31 and June 1, 2025, at The Mann in Fairmount Park, Philadelphia, with presale tickets starting February 18 and general sale on February 21.
Headliners include D’Angelo performing with The Roots, Lenny Kravitz, and Philadelphia native Meek Mill, marking his first appearance at the festival.
Special performances will celebrate album anniversaries, including Jeezy’s 'Let’s Get It: Thug Motivation 101' (20 years), Musiq Soulchild’s 'Aijuswanaseing' (25 years), and The Roots’ 'Do You Want More?!!!??!' (30 years).
Emerging artists like viral R&B sensation Laila! and Philly’s Lay Bankz join a lineup featuring GloRilla, Tems, Latto, Kaytranada, Miguel, and others.
The festival will also include unique day party experiences such as Trap Karaoke, Chill Vibes, and Kirk Franklin’s Sunday School, alongside go-go, house, and gospel music sets.
