Roof Collapse in Delhi’s Mohan Garden Injures Two After Heavy Rains

  • Subhash and his sister-in-law Preeti were rescued from debris, treated at Deen Dayal Upadhyay Hospital, and discharged; Subhash sustained a fracture to his left forearm, and a child escaped unhurt.
  • Police were alerted around 7:00 am, Delhi Fire Services received a call at 7:40 am, and four fire tenders were deployed for the rescue.
  • Investigators are trying to trace the building owner for questioning, with legal action expected following the probe.
  • The incident follows an August 15 roof collapse near Humayun’s Tomb that killed six people and prompted a negligence FIR under multiple BNS sections.
