Roof Collapse at TGL Venue Threatens League Start

No injuries or technology damage reported, impact on timelines yet to be determined.

The start of Tiger Woods and Rory McIlroy's new golf league, TGL, could be delayed due to a roof collapse at the SoFi Center, the Florida-based venue for the league.
The collapse was caused by an overnight power outage leading to deflation and damage to the air-supported dome section of the venue.
There were no injuries reported and no technology was impacted inside the Palm Beach Gardens arena.
The SoFi Center is a nearly 250,000-square-foot venue that will accommodate approximately 1,600 people on match nights during TGL’s inaugural season.
The TGL, announced in August 2022, will feature six four-player teams of PGA Tour players, including Justin Thomas, Rickie Fowler, Collin Morikawa, Wyndham Clark, Matt Fitzpatrick, Justin Rose and Xander Schauffele.
