Ronaldo and Duran Lead Al-Nassr to AFC Champions League Quarterfinals

The Saudi Pro League team secured a 3-0 victory over Esteghlal in Riyadh, advancing to the next stage of the tournament set to be held in Jeddah next month.

Cristiano Ronaldo scored his seventh tournament goal with a penalty, helping Al-Nassr defeat Esteghlal 3-0 in the second leg of the AFC Champions League Elite Round of 16.
Jhon Duran opened the scoring for Al-Nassr with a lob and later added a second goal late in the match, sealing the victory.
Esteghlal played with 10 men after Mehran Ahmadi received a second yellow card just before halftime for a foul on Mohammed Al-Fatil.
The win in Riyadh followed a 0-0 draw in the first leg in Tehran, ensuring Al-Nassr's progression to the quarterfinals for the first time under coach Stefano Pioli.
The quarterfinals will be hosted as a centralized tournament in Jeddah from April 25 to May 3, featuring top teams from across Asia.
