• Alone at Dawn adapts the 2019 book by Dan Schilling and Lori Chapman Longfritz about Air Force Combat Controller John Chapman and the officer who later fought to secure his Medal of Honor.
• Adam Driver will portray Chapman, with Anne Hathaway playing the intelligence officer central to the postwar recognition effort.
• Michael Russell Gunn wrote the screenplay, with revisions by Erin Cressida Wilson and Amy Herzog, and Schilling is serving as military consultant.
• Producers include Imagine Entertainment, The Hideaway Entertainment and Thruline Entertainment, alongside Kristy Grisham, William Connor and Patrick Newall.
• The project originated from a competitive rights bid, moved through adaptation to Howard’s attachment, is set at Amazon MGM for theaters, and does not yet have a release date.
