Romeo Nance's Girlfriend Charged with Obstruction Following Family Massacre

Nance, who killed seven family members and a stranger, died by suicide in Texas as law enforcement closed in.

Romeo Nance, 23, killed seven family members and a random stranger in Joliet, Illinois, before fleeing to Texas where he died by suicide.
Nance's victims included his mother, brother, three sisters, aunt, and uncle. The motive behind the shootings remains unclear.
Kyleigh Cleveland-Singleton, Nance's girlfriend and mother of his 3-year-old son, has been charged with obstruction of justice for allegedly preventing law enforcement from apprehending Nance.
Nance is also suspected of two separate shootings that occurred the day before the family murders, resulting in the death of 28-year-old Toyosi Bakare and injury of a 42-year-old man.
President Joe Biden, in response to the shootings, urged Congress to take action to prevent gun violence.
