  • At around 8:20 AM a boiling liquid expanding vapour explosion occurred during an LPG transfer at the via dei Gordiani station in the Prenestino-Labicano district, generating seismic vibrations across Rome.
  • Forty-five people were injured in the blast, among them police officers, firefighters and civilians, and two are in critical condition at Sant’Eugenio hospital with severe burns and inhalation injuries.
