Overview

• An Old Bailey jury on September 25 found Gordon, 22, guilty of manslaughter over the death of 16-year-old Camron Smith in Croydon.
• The group hijacked a Toyota Prius, forced entry into multiple homes, and chased Camron into his mother’s bedroom at Bracken Avenue, where he was fatally stabbed.
• Forensic DNA recovered from the stolen minicab and CCTV footage linked Gordon to the attack, according to police and court evidence.
• Flight records showed he left the UK for The Gambia on July 3, 2021; an international warrant was issued, and he was arrested after returning in August 2023.
