Rolls-Royce Delivers One-Off Spectre ‘Bailey’ Honoring Client’s Dog

Commissioned through the marque’s Private Office in New York, the one-off EV spotlights narrative-driven craftsmanship with a four-month, 180-piece marquetry portrait.

Overview

  • The bespoke Spectre has been handed to its anonymous U.S. owners after an earlier public showing at Monterey Car Week.
  • The two-tone exterior pairs Crystal Fusion with a new Beautiful Bailey hue inspired by the dog’s ear, with a hand-painted rose-gold paw print coachline and a matching Spirit of Ecstasy.
  • The cabin palette mirrors Bailey’s coat, and the rear-seat ‘waterfall’ features a lifelike inlay composed of more than 180 veneer pieces completed over four months.
  • Craftspeople employed nine veneer types across 22 natural shades, including four woods not previously used by Rolls-Royce to depict Bailey’s tongue; paw motifs also appear on the dash and rose-gold treadplates.
  • Rolls-Royce did not disclose the price, and beneath the bespoke details the coupe retains the standard Spectre electric powertrain, underscoring how personalization differentiates luxury EVs.
