Roku Sports went live on July 21 in Mexico to tackle sports streaming fragmentation by consolidating live and upcoming events in a dedicated “Zona de Deportes.” The hub covers leagues such as Liga MX, UEFA Champions League, Premier League, MLS, NFL, NBA, MLB and plans to add Formula 1 soon. It pulls content from platforms including VIX, Apple TV, Caliente TV, HBO Max, Prime Video and the Roku Channel. Users benefit from team-based alerts, curated recommendations, live channel guides, sports analysis and on-demand documentaries. Access is free on Roku devices but requires active subscriptions to each streaming service, with Roku Pay enabling in-app signups.
