Roku Introduces Backdrops to Transform TV Screens into Art Displays

The new feature offers curated artwork and personal photo galleries, enhancing the visual appeal of idle screens.

Backdrops will display classic and contemporary artwork, along with user-uploaded photos.
The feature includes descriptions of the artwork, providing educational value.
Initially rolling out to Roku-branded and third-party TVs, with streaming devices to follow in the fall.
Inspired by similar features on Samsung's Frame TV and Amazon's Fire TV.
Users can manually activate Backdrops or set it to display when the TV is off.
