Rohan Jaitley Secures Second Term as DDCA President in Contested Election

Jaitley defeated TMC MP Kirti Azad, continuing his leadership in Delhi cricket administration with strong voter support.

Rohan Jaitley, son of late Arun Jaitley, won re-election as Delhi District Cricket Association (DDCA) president with 1,577 votes against Kirti Azad's 777.
Jaitley's team secured all key DDCA leadership positions, including vice president, secretary, treasurer, and joint secretary roles.
Kirti Azad, a 1983 World Cup-winning cricketer and TMC MP, alleged corruption within the DDCA during his campaign.
Under Jaitley's leadership, the Arun Jaitley Stadium hosted five ODI World Cup matches and the inaugural Delhi Premier League T20 tournament in 2024.
Jaitley continues his family's legacy in cricket administration, following his father's 14-year tenure as DDCA president.
