Rogers Launches 'The Great Canadian Jersey' to Stitch Fan Donations Into Player-Worn Patchwork Jerseys

Fans who donate during the Jan. 5–15 drive can enter for a VIP hockey road trip.

Overview

  • Connor McDavid in Edmonton and Marie-Philip Poulin in Montreal kicked off the campaign by donating jerseys from their personal collections.
  • Canadians can drop off jerseys at participating Rogers stores nationwide or follow mail-in instructions listed at Rogers.com/TheGreatCanadianJersey.
  • Fashion designer and former OHL player Cameron Lizotte will create the one-of-a-kind patchwork jerseys from donated pieces.
  • The completed jerseys will be revealed later in January and featured in a national advertising push tied to Rogers' This Is Our Game platform.
  • The contest is open to Canadian residents aged 13 and older, includes a free mail-in photo-and-description entry option, offers a prize package valued at about $5,000, and selects one winner by random draw on Jan. 23.
