- Microsoft confirmed that the ROG Xbox Ally and ROG Xbox Ally X will go on sale in Mexico on Thursday, October 16, 2025.
- Both handhelds run Windows 11 Home and can play Xbox Game Pass titles as well as PC games from Steam, Epic, Ubisoft and Blizzard.
- The base Ally features an AMD Ryzen Z2, 16 GB of RAM, a 512 GB SSD and a 60 Wh battery, while the Ally X moves to a Ryzen AI Z2 Extreme, 24 GB of RAM, a 1 TB SSD and an 80 Wh battery.
- Xbox Wire outlined an Ally X NPU capability that will deliver system-level AI upscaling and other features starting in early 2026 without requiring developer updates.
- Mexico pricing has not been announced, with ASUS’s Shawn Yen indicating a reveal between September and October and an EU leak suggesting €599 for Ally and €899 for Ally X before taxes and import costs.
