• ASUS and Microsoft set India MRPs at Rs 69,990 for the ROG Xbox Ally and Rs 1,14,990 for the Ally X.
• Pre-orders are live from October 7 via ASUS and ROG Exclusive stores, ASUS Eshop, Amazon, Vijay Sales and authorised partners, with retail availability on October 16.
• Early buyers can claim limited rewards by generating a coupon (Rs 1,499 for Ally; Rs 499 for Ally X) that includes a ROG Slash sling bag and a one-year Xbox Game Pass Ultimate, with benefits valued at about Rs 16,947 for the first 100 customers.
• The Ally X uses AMD’s Ryzen AI Z2 Extreme with a dedicated NPU, 24GB RAM, 1TB storage and an 80Wh battery, while the Ally features Ryzen Z2 A, 16GB RAM, 512GB storage and a 60Wh battery.
• Both handhelds run Windows 11 with a full-screen Xbox experience and Gaming Copilot, and share a 7-inch 1080p 120Hz display with 500 nits brightness and Gorilla Glass Victus; the Ally X adds USB4 and DisplayPort 2.1 support and hall-effect triggers.
