Nile Rodgers, co-founder of Chic, accidentally confirmed he will perform immediately after Stewart at the festival during an awards event.
Stewart expressed excitement about the honor, stating he accepted the opportunity immediately despite the high personal cost of flying his band from the U.S.
This will mark Stewart's return to Glastonbury since headlining in 2002, while Rodgers previously performed in 2013 and 2017 with Chic.
Glastonbury 2025 will take place from June 25 to June 29, with additional performers yet to be officially announced.
