Absurd Ventures, founded by former Rockstar Games co-founder Dan Houser, has introduced its new IP, the 'Absurdaverse,' featuring a diverse cast of characters.
The studio is developing an original story-driven action-comedy adventure game set in the Absurdaverse, with further details expected to be revealed later this year.
In addition to the game, Absurd Ventures is working on an animated series tied to the Absurdaverse, alongside other multimedia projects including podcasts and comics.
The company has also announced two other narrative universes: the sci-fi thriller 'A Better Paradise' and the crime fiction 'American Caper,' expanding its focus beyond gaming.
Houser, known for his work on Grand Theft Auto and Red Dead Redemption, has recruited former Rockstar veterans to help bring these projects to life.
