The Rockies receive 23-year-old lefty Luis Peralta, who has posted a 0.91 ERA across High-A and Double-A levels this year.
Peralta, the younger brother of Milwaukee's Freddy Peralta, is known for his fastball/slider combination.
Beeks held left-handed hitters to a .182 average and is eligible for free agency after this season.
